C-PLAN featured coverages included on your policy:

  • Pilot Clause includes any pilot approved by you subject to minimums of 250 hours total flying time, 25 hours on type and 10 hours in the past 12 months
  • Non-Owned Liability:  Liability extends to aircraft you don’t own, with the same undercarriage and same passenger seating capacity as your own aircraft.
  • Non-Owned Hull:  Coverage on aircraft you don’t own, up to $100,000, when you carry hull coverage on your own aircraft.
  • If your claim exceeds the deductible, the deductible will not apply
  • Premises Liability, $1,000,000 each occurrence
  • Damage to Hangars and Contents of Others, $1,000,000
  • Medical Expenses, $10,000 per person
  • Personal Property, $5,000
  • Headset and Handheld Avionics, $5,000
  • Search and Rescue, $100,000
  • Emergency Expenses, $50,000
  • Passenger Baggage, $10,000            
  • Spares, $25,000
  • Trip Interruption, $1,000 per passenger, up to $5,000
  • Forced Landing, up to 50% of hull value
  • Territorial Limits include Alaska, with a passenger sub-limit


HOT AIR BALLOON PROGRAM FEATURES

  • Licensed Canadian Broker and Insurer
  • Insure all of your balloons and only pay premium to fly one at a time
  • Open pilot warranty and student pilots can be added
  • Choice of All Risks Hull or Ground Hull Only or Liability Only Coverage
  • Higher limits of liability available: up to a $5,000,000 Combined Single Liability Limit
  • Larger balloons can be covered: up to 12 passenger balloons
  • Premises Liability available: up to a $5,000,000 Liability Limit (this covers you for bodily Injury and Property Damage you may be held responsible for caused by you, your staff or volunteers).
